The shortest day of the year makes me s.a.d. and happy.

Sad because I’ve been cooped up, not getting any exercise, sunlight, or vitamin D for months, but happy because I know the days are now getting longer. My solstice plan- bike to work and back. Eat apples and clementines. Think positively.

Remember, axial tilt is the reason for the season.
